I’m so excited to share that I’m now offering the Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) in my practice! Whether you’re a current therapy client or someone looking for a standalone approach to nervous system healing, this groundbreaking tool is here to help you feel more calm, connected, and resilient.
What Is SSP and How Does It Work?
SSP is a gentle, science-backed listening program designed to help your nervous system find balance. Through specially designed music, SSP helps your body “tune in” to feelings of safety and calm, which can be difficult after trauma or chronic stress. It’s like a workout for your nervous system, giving it the tools to respond more flexibly to life’s ups and downs.
SSP is particularly helpful for people who feel stuck in patterns of anxiety, overwhelm, or shut-down. It’s not about diving into painful memories or intense processing—it’s a soothing way to help your body and brain work together to feel safer and more regulated.
Who Is SSP For?
I offer two ways to experience SSP:
1. For Current Psychotherapy Clients
If we’re already working together, SSP can be an incredible addition to your therapy journey. It’s often used in the early stages of treatment to prepare for deeper work, like EMDR, by helping your nervous system feel more grounded and flexible.
2. For Standalone SSP Clients
If you’re not a current psychotherapy client, no problem! SSP can also be offered as a standalone treatment. It’s perfect for those who want to experience its benefits on their own or as a complement to work they’re already doing with another provider.

What to Expect
The SSP program involves a series of short listening sessions. You’ll listen to specially filtered music designed to gently engage your nervous system. Depending on your needs, this can take place over a few days or be spread out over weeks or months. For some, the benefits are immediate; for others, the changes unfold gradually as their nervous system begins to shift.
Why Add SSP to Your Life?
If you’ve been feeling stuck, disconnected, or overwhelmed, SSP might be the reset your nervous system needs. It’s an incredible tool for calming your body, improving emotional regulation, and creating a stronger foundation for the rest of your life or therapeutic work.
If you’re curious about whether SSP might be a good fit for you, I’d love to chat! Reach out today to learn more or schedule a consultation. Let’s work together to help your nervous system feel safe, strong, and supported.
Warmly, Monica
